Orchestral Musicians

We have provided young students an opportunity to get experience that is required between leaving college and getting their first orchestral job. Many of our previous players have gone on the get jobs in orchestras such as Munich Philharmonic, Liverpool Philharmonic, London Philharmonic among others. We provide retired players from top orchestras to continue to perform and share their experience with the younger generation and to amateur musicians we offer to perform among top quality players.

We perform in a variety or venue such as St. John’s Smith Square, Holy Trinity Church on Prince Consort Road, SW7 2BA, Highgate United Reformed Church or St. Marks, Primrose Hill.

We rehearse on the days before the each concert depending on the difficulty of the programme. Sometime we just rehearse on the day and other days we will have 2 extra rehearsals on the Friday and Saturday before a Sunday concert.

Food in provided before the concerts and refreshments at the rehearsals.

An important aspect is the community feel to taking part and also our choice of repertoire, which includes exciting new premieres as well as some underperformed masterpieces.
